Stay & explore · Perth, Western Australia
Plan the whole stay: accommodation, dining, relaxation and time to explore. Here is a destination to consider, with official information to help you compare the hotel experience and casino access separately.
Three hotels in one resort precinct
Crown Perth brings together Crown Towers, Crown Metropol and Crown Promenade, alongside a casino, restaurants, bars and live entertainment. The hotel choice lets you compare room styles and facilities while staying within the same resort precinct.
Before you book
Compare the facilities of your chosen hotel rather than assuming every resort amenity is included. Check pool access, spa reservations, parking and the cancellation terms for your room. Dining and theatre bookings are separate from accommodation unless your package states otherwise.
Check the venue’s current admission requirements and opening times directly. Accommodation reservations and access to gambling areas are separate arrangements.
Room availability, prices and inclusions are set by the hotel. Use the official links for current details and reservations.
Three clocks on one visit. The sky in each band follows its local hour.

Western Australia
Local time
Perth sits on the Swan River, with Kings Park on the scarp above the central city and the ocean beaches — Cottesloe, City Beach, Scarborough — a ride west, not a walk from the office towers. It is the isolated city of this set. Sydney is a flight of about four hours, not a weekend drive. Western Australia does not use daylight saving, so in the southern summer Perth is three hours behind Sydney and Melbourne, and two hours behind them in winter. Summers are hot and dry. Winters are mild and wetter.

Victoria
Local time
The useful map is the tram grid. Flinders Street Station is the usual meeting point at the river. The Hoddle Grid is walkable, and the laneways are inside it, not a separate town. Fitzroy, Carlton, and South Yarra are short tram rides and feel residential. St Kilda is the bay beach, a ride south, not a downtown walk. Melbourne’s weather can change in an afternoon. Winters are cool and grey rather than snowy. Victoria observes daylight saving, so summer evenings are long and the clock matches Sydney, not Brisbane.
Sample stay
A sample stay in or on the edge of the Hoddle Grid, for the station, the river, and walking. Evenings in the entertainment streets can be loud. Not a named hotel.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
Sample stay
A sample stay in a residential area or toward St Kilda. You get a local street and a tram into the grid. This describes a pattern, not a vacancy.

New South Wales
Local time
The harbour is the orientation. Circular Quay, the Rocks, and the central business district put the Opera House, the ferries, and the trains in walking distance. That is a different decision from Bondi or the eastern beaches, which are a bus or a ride east and a different evening. The ferry is a real way to move, not only a tour. Summers are humid. New South Wales observes daylight saving, on the same clock as Melbourne and an hour ahead of Queensland while that saving is in force.
Sample stay
A sample way to stay if you want the Quay, the ferries, and flat walking by the water. The area fills up, and some streets are noisy at night. Not a room offer.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
Sample stay
A sample way to stay in an eastern beach suburb. The sand is the daily walk, and the harbour is a trip back in. This is not a named property.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
Queensland
Local time
Brisbane is a river city. South Bank and the central business district face each other across the water, linked by bridges and by the CityCat ferries. New Farm, West End, and Fortitude Valley are close and feel different: leafy, residential, or out at night. Summers are humid, with a storm season roughly from late spring into early autumn. Queensland does not observe daylight saving. In summer the city is an hour behind Sydney and Melbourne. In winter it shares their hour. The Gold Coast is south, about an hour away in ordinary traffic, not a suburb you stroll to.
Sample stay
A sample stay around South Bank or the central riverfront, so the ferries and the parklands are the daily walk. Not a listing and not a rate.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
Sample stay
A sample stay in a close neighbourhood such as West End or New Farm. You walk local streets and cross the river when you need the centre. This names an area, not a hotel.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
Queensland
Local time
The Gold Coast uses Queensland time, the same hour as Brisbane, all year. Surfers Paradise is the high-rise beach. The strip runs for a long way; Broadbeach and Main Beach are neighbours, not the same block. The hinterland — the green ranges inland — is a different day and a drive. Theme parks sit back from the sand. Brisbane is about 80 kilometres north. The road and the Queensland Rail Gold Coast line both do the trip; allow about an hour in ordinary conditions and longer in holiday traffic. Check the current service before you count on the last train.
Sample stay
A sample stay on the coastal strip if the sand and the high-rises are the point of the trip. It is built up and busy in school holidays. Not a named tower.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
Sample stay
A sample approach, not a property: sleep on the coast and drive inland for a day in the ranges. You spend the time in the car. This is not a lodge with rooms on offer.
Not a hotel listing. No price, vacancy, or review is claimed.
