About
A reading guide, with a second door.
Stay Aussie Hotels is an orientation to five places: Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast. It describes the kind of base a visitor might choose and the practical differences between those places, including the fact that they do not share one clock. It is not a hotel company, not a booking site, and not a review platform. The name is the title of this edition. It is not presented as a registered hotel brand.
Purpose
The stay guide answers a planning question: where should a bag go down for a few nights, and what is that choice actually like. A room by Sydney Harbour is not a room at Bondi. Sleeping in Surfers Paradise is not the same decision as sleeping in Brisbane and riding south. Perth is a different time zone and a flight. Melbourne’s tram grid is not the bay.
Room rates, star scores, and “only two left” messages are not here, because this project was not given live hotel inventory and it does not invent any.
A second section, the casino comparison, sits beside the guide and is labelled as separate. It reuses an existing Australian toplist. It is advertising. Opening it does not say that gambling is legal for the person reading.
Why these five places
The set is a common first trip rather than a map of Australia. One western capital, two southern capitals, and two Queensland places that share a clock and a short trip. Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin, Canberra, and Cairns are real journeys too. They are outside this edition.
- Perth is the Swan River capital. The beaches are west of the towers. It does not use daylight saving, and it is a flight from the other four.
- Melbourne is the tram city on the Yarra. St Kilda is the bay, not the grid. Victoria uses daylight saving.
- Sydney is the harbour city. The eastern beaches are a separate base. New South Wales uses daylight saving, on Melbourne’s clock.
- Brisbane is the river city. South Bank faces the centre. Queensland does not use daylight saving, so summer here is an hour behind Sydney.
- Gold Coast is the beach strip about 80 kilometres south of Brisbane, on the same Queensland clock. The hinterland is inland of the sand.
How to read a sample stay
Each place has two cards marked Sample. A card names a pattern, such as a harbour base or a beach-strip base. It does not name a hotel, a brand, a price, a vacancy, or a guest score. The sentence under every card says the same thing on purpose: nothing on that card is a listing.
Photographs
The pictures show the places, not hotels you can book from these pages. Sydney is the harbour, with the Opera House and ferries. Melbourne is Flinders Street Station. Brisbane is the river toward the central towers. Perth is the skyline across the water at night. The Gold Coast picture is the Surfers Paradise strip and the beach. All five are Unsplash photographs. The photo identifiers are in the footer. They are illustrative. A ferry on Sydney Harbour is not a photograph of a room.
Where the casino comparison comes from
The comparison was not written as new promotions for this guide. The layout, the order, the offer lines, the logo colours, the payment icons, the RTP figures, and the outbound links come from the Australian toplist at top10casinosinaustralia.com/au/, which is the template page-au-new.php filled from the public feed website_id=au. That feed was copied on 7 November 2026. It had three operators, in this order: Jeetcity, Bohocasino, Dicepalace. The buttons go to the AdsTracker addresses that the original /go/ links redirected to on that date.
Some of the sentences on that page are fixed text in the original template. Ratings step down from 10 by a tenth of a point. The review counts are a fixed list. The stars are drawn full on every row. The introduction, the payout table, the scorecard, and the FAQ were copied with the template. This project has no test notes behind them. The Terms page lists these limits. Offers go stale. The operator’s own page is the offer that exists today.
How the first page is chosen
The address / looks at a country code the host already has, such as Cloudflare’s CF-IPCountry header. A code of AU or PK opens the casino comparison. Any other country opens this stay guide. If the header is missing, or the host sends XX or T1, the location is treated as unknown and the stay guide opens. Visitors and crawlers use that same check. There is no separate page for reviewers or bots.
That is a starting page, nothing more. You can open the other section from the navigation. The code is not a check of age, state, or whether an operator will accept you. It is not a statement that gambling is legal.
What this edition does not have
- No booking, no prices, no availability, and no guest reviews.
- No hotel brand partnerships and no invented property names.
- No business email, phone number, or street address. None was provided, so none is printed.
- No account, and no mailbox. The contact form does not send mail.
- No claim that the five places are the best of Australia, or that the three casinos were re-tested for this site.
